Chrissy Clarke

Partner

Chrissy writes women’s fiction and has a penchant for the paranormal, so there’s at least a little magic in every book.  Although she says she doesn’t like romance, her main characters always get a happy ending.  Like famous poet Yeats, she thinks death and sex are endlessly interesting.

The books she reads, and everything she writes, must have blood and sex.

Born in the great state of Pennsylvania, Chrissy has spent her adult life in the West coast rainforest with her husband.  They currently live with three children and an assortment of critters, including a 100+ pound house pig.  Her other four babies have grown and ventured into the wide world, including a son who lives in Arizona and a daughter studying in Beijing.

Inked In Gray Square.png

Inked in Gray Press

Partner

Inked in Gray is a small press dedicated to telling the stories that need to be told. We focus on stories that push boundaries, tackle morally gray issues, and explore topics that dig deeper into our world and helping our authors tell those stories. Too many issues and realities get pushed into the cracks of society. We aim to bring those stories to light, give voice to the voiceless, and tell stories that need to be told. There is always another side, another truth to what we think we know and perceive. Inked in Gray is also dedicated to supporting the Writing Community through our creation of the Indie Resource Directory as well as in person and online community writing groups.

Writer's Workout

Partner

The Writer's Workout was formed from a love of competition and encouragement. We are a community of writers with many different backgrounds, ideas, influences, and skill levels. From authors published several times over, poets featured in anthologies, to new writers just starting out, we have one important thing in common: a love of the written word.

We know that no two authors are the same; no author approaches The Craft in the same way as the next, and that's okay. We support to all skill and interest levels and our members are always happy to help aspiring writers wherever and whenever they can. Someone is always around to offer advice, motivation, support, and encouragement.
